Joel Greenberg writes about the future of energy on The Energy Roadmap <dot> com. He combines a people based approach with good science to tell stories about the changes that are happening in energy and therefore, our lives. From inteviews with energy pioneers like Stanford Ovshinsky, to fusion scientists who have designed a fusion-fission hybrid nuclear reactor that burns nuclear waste, to a researcher that's invented a paper battery, Joel seeks out stories that have the potential to touch our lives in surprising and meaningful ways.
Joel uses his background in Social Media and PR in energy campaigns, most recently on a campaign for Texans for A Sound Energy Policy Alliance. He's been using technology to communicate since before there was a QuickTime 1.0. At GSD&M, he was a Sr. Account Planner specializing in the consumer of use technology. He started GSD&M's first blog and first podcast. He brought thought leaders such as Henry Jenkins, John Perry Barlow, The Static Revenger, and The PMS Clan, among others, to the agency to infuse a participatory media ethic throughout the agency's work. At The Electric Sheep Company, he built an ad network for Virtual Worlds, Second Life being the first. At Human Code, he lead a team of producers to create some of the most innovative interactive marketing of the day, like an interactive movie for Motorola about a Java programmer pursuing an anti-technology cult who kidnapped her inventor uncle to promote wireless broadband technology.
A sought after speaker, Joel will be appearing in the upcoming documentary, Drill Deep.
